Allergens that may cause angioedema include pollen, insect bites, medication, and certain types of food. Angiogenesis (angio-genesis): The formation and development of new blood vessels is called angiogenesis. New vessels are formed as the cells lining blood vessels, or endothelium, grow and migrate. Angiogenesis is important for blood vessel repair and growth. This process also plays a role in the development and spread of tumors, which rely on the blood supply for needed oxygen and nutrients. Angiogram (angio-gram): This is a medical X-ray exam of blood and lymph vessels, usually done to examine the blood flow in arteries and veins. This exam is commonly used to identify blockages or narrowing of the heart arteries. Angiography (angio - graphy): After injection of a radiopaque substance, the x-ray examination of vessels. Angioimmunoblastic (angio - immuno - blastic): This term refers to the things characterized by or related to lymph gland immunoblasts. Angiokinesis (angio-kinesis): Also called vasomotion, angiokinesis is the spontaneous movement or change in the tone of a blood vessel. It is caused by changes in smooth muscle as it dilates and contracts. Angiology (angio-logy): The study of blood and lymphatic vessels is called angiology. This field of study focuses on diseases of the cardiovascular system and the prevention and treatment of vascular and lymphatic diseases. Angiolysis (angio-lysis): Angiolysis refers to the destruction or dissolution of blood vessels as is seen in newborns after the umbilical cord is tied. Angioma (angi-oma): An angioma is a benign tumor that is composed mainly of blood vessels and lymphatic vessels. They can occur anywhere on the body and include different types such as spider and cherry angiomas. Angiomyogenesis (angio - myo - genesis): This is a medical term that refers to the regeneration of heart (myocardial) tissue. Angiopathy (angio-pathy): This term refers to any type of disease of the blood or lymph vessels. Cerebral amyloid angiopathy is a type of angiopathy characterized by the build up of protein deposits in brain blood vessels that can cause bleeding and stroke. Angiopathy caused by high levels of blood glucose is known as diabetic angiopathy. Angioplasty (angio-plasty): This is a medical procedure used to widen narrowed blood vessels. A catheter with a balloon tip is inserted into a clogged artery and the balloon is inflated to widen the narrowed space and improve blood flow. Angiorrhaphy (angio - rrhaphy): This is a surgical term referring to the suture repair of a vessel, typically a blood vessel. Angiorrhexis (angio - rrhexis): This term refers to the rupturing of a vessel, particularly a blood vessel. Angiosarcoma (angi-sarc-oma): This rare malignant cancer originates in blood vessel endothelium. Angiosarcoma can occur anywhere in the body but commonly occurs in tissues of the skin, breast, spleen, and liver. Angiosclerosis (angio-scler-osis): The stiffening or hardening of blood vessel walls is called angiosclerosis. Hardened arteries restrict blood flow to body tissues. This condition is also known as arteriosclerosis. Angioscope (angio-scope): An angioscope is a special type of microscope, or endoscope, used for examining the inside of capillary vessels. It is a valuable instrument for diagnosing vascular problems. Angiospasm (angio-spasm:) This serious condition is characterized by sudden blood vessels spasms due to high blood pressure. An angiospasm can cause a section of an artery to close partially or temporarily disrupting blood flow to organs or tissues. Angiosperm (angio-sperm): Also called flowering plants, angiosperms are seed producing plants. They are characterized by ovules (eggs) that are enclosed within an ovary. The ovules develop into seeds upon fertilization. Angiostenosis (angio - stenosis): This term refers to the narrowing of a vessel, typically a blood vessel. Angiostimulatory (angio - stimulatory): Angiostimulatory refers to the stimulation and growth of blood vessels. Angiotensin (angio-tensin): This neurotransmitter causes blood vessels to become narrow. Angiotensin substances help to control blood pressure by constricting blood vessels to reduce blood flow.

Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy. It has been going on for many centuries. No one knows when the first abortion was because many of them were never documented. Approximately half of the women in the United States have had at least one pregnancy that they aborted (â€Å"Abortion In†). In the 1820s there were laws forbidding abortion after fourth month of pregnancy. Many feminist, such as Susan B. Anthony are against abortion. Susan B. Anthony was an American civil rights leader in the 19th century (â€Å"Susan B. Anthony†). Many people were against the idea of abortion until the 19th century. A lot of states felt that, even though in the womb, the child still has rights in this world. There are a few different types of ways to have an abortion: dilation and evacuation, s uction curettage, manual vacuum aspiration, and the morning after pill. Dilation and evacuation is done during the second trimester of pregnancy. They spread the cervix, pull out fetal parts, and crush the skull for easier removal. Suction curettage is when they once again spread the cervix, use a suction tube and suck the fetus and remaining parts out. Manual vacuum aspiration is similar to the one stated before. It is done early in the pregnancy and a tube is inserted into the uterus and the embryo is suctioned out. The morning after pill is usually used right after something during sexual intercourse goes wrong. This pill is also known as â€Å"Emergency Contraceptive†. This basically ‘kills’ the baby if it has already been conceived. (How Abortions Are Done) Being against this issue, I feel that abortion should never be an option, or a way out.
